Each order - by telephone or fax, email or your preferred means - is drawn onto the planning sheet of the relevant collection day. Our offices are open from 08:30 hrs to 19:00 hrs, and after hour numbers are available for the planning department. The planning department coordinates and supervises all planned transport actions, and has therefore the possibility to intervene immediately following your demands. The planning department can give you all relevant information you might require about a certain job at any time during the transport process from collection to delivery. Your instructions will be followed correctly and possible changes will be implemented immediately. As from the moment one of your orders is put onto our planning sheet, a transport file has been raised containing all relevant information and documents. The planning department will if so required prepare your preferred documents for collecting the order following your instructions and requirements. All arrangements will be pre-made for shipment of the collected cargo and trailer to the UK and onward delivery. Mc Cann has a standard booking of 50 trailer unit's minimum each day to the UK via various shipping routes, using ferry or alternatively through the tunnel. We therefore maintain close relationship with all shipping lines. On collecting day each trailer is pre-booked with the shipping line. Mc Cann UK offices are updated minimum twice per day, of all latest transport developments via a "loading and delivery advice". All collections of any one day, together with details of each load, will be summarised on this internal document allowing Mc Cann Uk to pre-book or pre-arrange transport and delivery in the UK. If required each delivery point can be pre-advised of delivery dates & times. Feedback from delivery places transmitted to Mc Cann will -if so required- be reported to your services in your preferred format. All relevant transport information is noted on the individual transport file allowing for quick and effective trace ability. All drivers and subcontractors to Mc Cann are in direct and continuous contact with our planning department via GSM or else. All drivers - subcontractors are contractually linked with Mc Cann. Each driver receives copy of our "drivers Manual" which is part of our quality manual.
