Mc Cann operates 230 trailers and furthermore has easy access and agreements with trailer suppliers in Belgium and the UK to insert extra trailers in the trailer pool system on daily basis if and when required. Two standard types of trailers are available: * 13.62curtainsided type, Tautliners (230 units) These trailers available with or without sliding roof with following measurements: Length 13.62 Mtr Width 2.55 Mtr Internal height 2.67 Mtr Tare weight 6200 to 6800 kgs *13.62 Mtr Flat Bed trailers equipped with sheets and straps (50 Units) Length 13.62 Mtr Width 2.55 Mtr Tares weight 6000 kgs These trailers - mainly used for steel and building industry- are also suitable for abnormal loads. Transit time to UK is two days (loading day A for delivery day C), and can be reduced to one day on most southern UK destinations, allowing for legal driving hours at all times. Mc Cann uses both own tractor units and subcontractors for haulage of our trailers on the continent and the UK. As stated these subcontractors are an integral part of our organization and are linked with a contract to Mc Cann. In the UK we furthermore operate 25 of our own tractor units.
